Duke of York Square, Chelsea

Introduction

Duke of York Square is a lifestyle destination, located along London's King’s Road. It draws visitors with a wide selection of fashion and beauty stores, terraced-restaurants and culture with Saatchi Gallery and Taschen's independent bookstore.

The Brief

Relish Content was brought on board to attract a mixture of visitors to Chelsea’s fashion, food, beauty and culture destination, reaching newer visitors to the area and diversifying its footfall. Duke of York Square needed a strong and individualised social media strategy in order to convey its originality and compete with other major shopping destinations in London.

"We were able to create footfall and awareness beyond Chelsea, and ensure visitors took the time to step off the King’s Road to discover this hidden treasure."

Strategy

The social media platforms for Duke of York Square (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) needed to provide fans and followers with engaging and original content. Shareability was also key in order for the destination to reach a wider audience. By keeping followers informed and creating an ‘insider-feel’ to content, each account also exercised its own influence on the lives and therefore choices of existing and potential customers.

Results

Through our bespoke approach to photography, research and caption writing, we were able to ensure Duke of York Square’s online branding matched its polished and community-spirited image. Through strong community engagement, we were able to create footfall and awareness beyond Chelsea, and ensure visitors took the time to step off the King’s Road to discover this hidden treasure.
